The Trustees of Prep Schools Trust and the Governors of West Hill Park School are delighted to announce that West Hill Park is joining Prep Schools Trust at the beginning of 2025.
Prep Schools Trust is one of the UK’s leading prep schools groups and currently owns and operates six other prep schools in England. Its educational mission and values are closely aligned with the mission and values of West Hill Park. West Hill Park, founded in 1920, is a co-ed day, flexi and full boarding prep school for pupils from Nursery to Year 8 set in beautiful 28 acre grounds near Fareham in Hampshire. The School is known for its caring community and inspires a love of learning in its pupils through its breadth of opportunities and experiences.
Tom Beardmore-Gray, Chief Executive of Prep Schools Trust said: ‘We believe that West Hill Park will fit seamlessly into our existing group of schools. The School has a strong heritage and provides an outstanding education and nurturing environment for its pupils. We look forward to welcoming the pupils, families and staff and are excited by the benefits we will all gain through collaboration and sharing of best practice.’
James Barnes, Chair of Governors of West Hill Park said: ‘The Board of Governors has consulted widely regarding the best way to secure West Hill Park’s continued development over the coming period. We believe that this is the best course of action for the School. West Hill Park will maintain its aims, ethos and standards, whilst benefitting in many different ways from joining the UK’s leading prep schools group.’
